Hey remember a few days ago whenever Altuve was almost drilled by a fastball and the Rangers fans cheered?
So imagine my absolute shock whenever the Rangers fanbase and the Rangers team went absolutely nuclear because Adolis Garica was lightly drilled by a pitch. Imagine the depraved mind someone has to have to both live in Dallas and cheer for a man almost getting injured trying to play, what is essentially, a children’s game. What a bunch of complete dweebs.
And who’s to say why Abreu hit Garcia. Maybe it was because of the extended strut on the home run. Maybe its because the Astros were tired of hearing from a fanbase with less history than a plastic water bottle. Or maybe, it was the simplest explanation, and the ball just went to the wrong location. Rangers fans should be completely familiar with that concept, considering the games in Arlington have seen a lot of “wayward” Rangers’ pitches.
The man himself even said it was an accident, and earnestly so.
Side note: how are the umpires so sure that Abreu intentionally threw at Garcia when they can’t even call balls and strikes correctly? Also, where’s the logic in hitting a guy, giving him a free base, in the 8th inning of a playoff game while down 2 runs? Sounds like something only a nitwit Rangers fan can concoct.
And then the players have the audacity to clear the benches after their guy hides behind every person possible leaving the rest of the team to fight his battle. And don’t forget the Sweet Chin Music to Dubon right after Altuve’s homer, which felt way more suspicious than a guy angry about a home run walk.
This entire franchise is absolutely full of losers who are just dealing with a constant case of little brother syndrome. You know I won’t mention how this is the same franchise that was literally one strike away from a World Series win, only to blow it to the Cardinals (are we just never going to mention how they hacked the Astros – an actual, real, prosecutable crime?). Or is this the same franchise that is only good this year because they decide to spend something like a half billion on a team over the last couple years. The same team that couldn’t win the division?
This moral grandstanding by a bunch of fans with a clear inferiority complex because they’re upset about the “integrity of the game.” Imagine cheering a guy almost getting drilled in the head. What a bunch of sociopathic losers who have to travel to a fake city to watch a team of little men. Take your pathetic cheers and go fuck a cow at the Stockyards.
I’ll leave you with this absolutely beautiful video of Rangers fans reacting to the game. Pay special attention to the Walmart version of Big Ed who is almost in tears because there are so many Astros fans at that excuse of a stadium.
